Calum is a Welsh artist, photographer, and retoucher based in Manchester and Blackburn. With over 10 years of experience, his work has been internationally published and nationally exhibited.
Notable clients include. Netflix, Debenhans, Primark, Coast, Burtons, Boohoo, Misspap, J'adore Models, Tarrif and Dale, and The National Festival of Making, Blackburn Museum, Ancoats studio and Village books.
As an artist, Calum explores the relationship between people, objects, and space through memory and tangentiality, utilizing painting, analog photography, video, and performance art. His recent solo exhibition, Yma Ac Acw (Here and There), was a meditation on the Welsh countryside and was showcased at Prism Contemporary. The accompanying zine is available at Village Books in Manchester and Leeds.
In addition to his artistic practice, Calum is co - founder of the Obscura Collective, where he contributes to session delivery and manages the vision of the organisation.
He co-managed and delivered the successful "Creative Community" project funded by Arts Council England. As part of the Ace under 30k.
Most recently Calum has worked on the Obscura collective photo wall project with Blackburn Museum. As producer, lead artist and project manager.
